Downtown Howell

The brick buildings, murals, and tree-lined sidewalks along Grand River give us that mix of urban texture and small-town warmth. The alleyways and storefronts are perfect for seniors who want a modern, editorial feel without leaving town. During the Howell Melon Festival and holiday season, the downtown decorations add an extra layer of character.

Thompson Lake

Golden hour at Thompson Lake is unbeatable. The water, the tree line, the way the light hits — it's one of my go-to spots for a reason. The park area along the shore gives us open space for full-length shots, and the dock is a favorite for that classic lakeside portrait.

Howell Nature Center Area

If you want a more natural, woodsy vibe, the trails near the nature center are gorgeous — especially in early fall when the colors start turning. The mix of open meadow and tree canopy means we can get completely different looks within a short walk.

What Your Senior Session Looks Like

We start with a pre-session consultation — I want to know your style, your vibe, what you're into. Then we plan outfits, locations, and timing together. Golden hour sessions (the hour before sunset) are my specialty because the light is warm, soft, and flattering.

On session day, it's relaxed. I guide you through natural movements and expressions — no stiff, awkward posing. Most sessions include 2-3 outfit changes and last about 90 minutes. You'll get a gallery of fully edited images to choose from.
