Kensington Metropark

Kensington is practically a family photographer's dream. The farm area, the nature center trails, the lake overlooks, the wildflower meadows — there are so many distinct spots within one park that we can get a dozen different looks without moving the car. The light through the mature trees is gorgeous year-round.

Huron Meadows Metropark

Open meadows and the boardwalk over the wetlands give us a natural, airy feel that works beautifully for family sessions. There's space for kids to run, and the backgrounds are clean and uncluttered — perfect for gallery wraps you'll hang on your wall.

Brighton Mill Pond

For a quick, convenient session right in town, the Mill Pond is hard to beat. Water reflections, the covered bridge, and green space all within walking distance. Great for families with little ones who do better with shorter outings.

Island Lake Recreation Area

Rolling hills, tall grasses, and wide-open sky. Island Lake is incredible at golden hour — the light across the fields is warm, soft, and flattering for everyone from babies to grandparents.
