Downtown Howell's historic charm, Thompson Lake's golden hour light, and the trails near the Howell Nature Center make this my home base for family sessions. The variety within a few miles is incredible.
Brighton
Kensington Metropark, Huron Meadows, Brighton Mill Pond, and Island Lake Recreation Area — Brighton has some of the best parks in Southeast Michigan for family photos. The mature trees and open meadows photograph beautifully in every season.
Hartland
Parshallville's historic cider mill area, the rolling countryside, and local farms give Hartland sessions a rural charm that's hard to find anywhere else. If your family has property in the area, shooting on your own land makes the photos even more meaningful.

I guide you through natural prompts — walking together, playing with the kids, real interactions that bring out genuine smiles and laughter. Most sessions last about an hour, and I recommend scheduling during golden hour for the warmest, most flattering light.
